FFP Partners with Soldiers’ Angels to Support Veterans and Military Families Facing Food Insecurity
ORLANDO, Fla., May 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Florida Food Products (FFP), a leader in natural ingredient solutions, is proud to announce a purpose-driven partnership with Soldiers’ Angels, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources to military service members, veterans, and their families.
The need for reliable nutrition within the military community is significant. A 2023 study found that approximately 15.4% of active-duty personnel experience low food security, meaning they lack consistent access to enough nutritious food for an active, healthy life. Recognizing this critical need, FFP has joined forces with Soldiers’ Angels to make a lasting difference. This collaboration, announced by Vince Macciocchi, chief executive officer of FFP, reflects FFP’s deep commitment to supporting the military community.
“At FFP, we believe in the power of nourishment—not just through the food and beverages we help create, but through the support we extend to our communities,” said Macciocchi. “Our partnership with Soldiers’ Angels reflects our profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by service members and veterans. Together, we are committed to making a meaningful impact by providing essential nutrition and resources, ensuring that no hero goes without the support they deserve.”
The partnership will officially launch with a food distribution event at the Lake Baldwin VA Clinic, on August 15, 2025, where volunteers from both organizations will provide nutritious food packages to pre-registered military families and veterans. This event marks the beginning of a sustained effort to address access to nutritious food among military families in the Orlando area, where FFP is headquartered, and beyond.
“Welcoming FFP as a partner strengthens our efforts to address food insecurity among military families,” said Amy Palmer, president and CEO of Soldiers’ Angels. “This collaboration will significantly expand our capacity to serve the military community and ensure that more veterans and military families have access to nutritious food.”
“Supporting those who have served our nation is deeply personal for many of us at FFP, including myself,” said Jillian Hermanowicz, VP of marketing and communications at FFP. “As the spouse of an active-duty USMC combat veteran, we understand the sacrifices made by military families. FFP’s commitment to this partnership is driven by the heartfelt connections within our team, and the desire to make a real, lasting impact.”
