This individual focuses on analytical laboratory activities for specific testing involving HPLC instruments. Participation in a variety of analytical/microbiological support activities is required. Work is performed through the application of a body of knowledge related to standard laboratory methods, practices, procedures, policies, regulations, and laboratory materials and equipment. The Manufacturing Operator supports our upstream processing as well as occasional projects/support including processes of monitoring, sampling and routine sample analysis. The operator ensures production is running according to the daily/weekly plan. They assist the Supervisor to ensure the department complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control (HACCP) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF). A key focus on working safely and ensuring the department complies with all safety rules. The role involves carrying out microbial analysis according to batch records using good sterile technique. Ongoing utilization and monitoring of equipment and process control systems to ensure parameters are within specified operating ranges. Performs minor mechanical and instrumentation troubleshooting; takes appropriate corrective action as needed.
